New England Review published my translation of Book 3 of Virgil’s Aeneid in 2010, Book 1 in 2009, Book 6 in 2007, Book 4 in 2005, and Book 2 in 2003. Critical essays have appeared in Salamander (2007), Boulevard (2007), Octopus (2007, 2005), and American Letters & Commentary (2003).

I have two collections of poetry: Hard Words was a finalist for the Silverfish Review Press and Sarabande Morton awards (2005), the Utah State/May Swenson Award (2004), the CSU Poetry Center Award (2001), the National Poetry Series (1998), and the Walt Whitman Award (1993, 1992); Mean Numbers was a finalist for the Mississippi Review book prize (2009) and the Silverfish Review Press Cable Award (2008) and a semifinalist for the Elixir prize (2007, 2006, 2005) and the Ohio State Journal award (2007).
